"God told her anything is possible, so she lived her life believing it with all her heart."

So true. And such a good reminder when it seems nothing is going as I had hoped. :)

From the calendar: It's been a while.

"Sit quietly. Breathe deeply. Hope steadily. God is working on your behalf this very moment."

" No doubt about it- a woman on fire for God is a force to be reckoned with."

So, so true.

For Mrs. Harness

Megan has asked a couple of times what calender I have, and since it is such a wonderful calender, I thought I would share it with all.

It is a DaySpring calender called "She Lives, She Loves, She Laughs". The "brand" is Sassy and Sophisticated. Here's the link:http://store.dayspring.com/365dacasaso.html

"Let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praide your heavenly father." Matthew 5:16

"Joy is the soul's celebration of everything God has done."

Have a fabulous day!

Quick Update

Quote of the day on my desk calander: "She knew there would be bumps in the road, so she protected her heart, adjusted her attitude, and held onto God's promises with both hands."

What's been happening: My bestfriend, Katie, got engaged! And we got to be there to help celebrate. My brother-in-law got engaged! :) Yay! I gave Chris a Suprise Birthday party! Softball is exhausting, but so much fun!

That's all for now. I will expand later!

My new favorite

"She started her day with a simple prayer, "Lord, lead the way." Then she stepped out the door with a heart full of courage."

This is obviously my inspiration for today. I love it! What a great way to start off the day. :)

"Chocolate, sweet chocolate... let us never abandon the things God has given us to enjoy."

Hmmm... I think I will follow this advice.

I really needed to hear this today!

"Trials build patience, make us strong, and teach us that sometimes prayers and truffles do go together."

When your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete." James 1:4

"The Godly woman faces her challenges with prayer, a sense of adventure, and a great pair of boots." (or in my case, flats.)

I don't think Jamie realized what a blessing her gift would be in getting me through the day. :)

Thought of the Day

"The good things God has for you are more exciting than a clearance shoe sale and a box of chocolates put together."

It's been a while...

Obviously I haven't posted in a while...
Life has been crazy lately! With 2 trips home, Christmas parties, the Holidays, and school- there hasn't been a ton of free time, and when there is- I relax. :) I don't' have pictures from the holidays uploaded yet, but I will! I actually don't have much today at all, considering I am at work. :)

What I do have is this: Jamie gave me an awesome desk calender for Christmas, with the sweetest and most uplifting quotes! I have decided to post them every few days, so that everyone can appreciate them!

"Rejoice in every day of life." Ecclesiastes 11:8 ~I love this because I get so caught up in work and other things that I forget to rejoice in the everyday. The beautiful snow that is covering the ground, my amazing students, my super awesome husband, my family and friends, cooking with Chris, lounging around, walking the dog, and all of the other things that make my everyday wonderful! It's a sweet reminder to appreciate the small things of everyday.

And one from the past:

"There's more happiness in a single moment of God's presencethan in anything else in life (and He doesn't mind if you sweeten the happy moments with a little chocolate). " ~For me, this quote says to see God in everything, and to spend time with him every day!

More to come- the bell just rang and it's time to teach the future leaders of our country. :) (Scary thought, huh?)
